I Want to tell of an instantaneous healing of extreme sinus trouble. I was treated for over two years by physicians and received no benefit from their treatment. During this time I was unable to lie down. Through a friend I turned to Christian Science and was healed. I have always been deeply grateful for this healing, because it revealed to me the truth about God and my relationship to Him.
Formerly I had always conceived of God as a Deity to be feared. This did not seem right to me because the Bible speaks of God as Love. For many years I had prayed for understanding and that I might be shown the way. I have never ceased being grateful for those first truths which were pointed out to me in the Bible and in our textbook, Science and Health by Mary Baker Eddy. Through using these truths daily I have had many proofs of God's protecting care.
My blessings have been so numerous that I cannot count them. I am grateful to Mrs. Eddy for giving us the truth in such a way that we can understand it and for the Lesson-Sermons in the Christian Science Quarterly. I find the Lesson-Sermons a great help in solving daily problems. I am grateful that I can see problems as opportunities for higher attainment of good.
