For years the testimonies in our periodicals have been a great help to me, and I want to express my gratitude for them.
Christian Science was presented to me by a friend who saw my need of healing. She gave me two copies of the Sentinel, which I eagerly read, realizing that this truth was what I had so long been seeking. "Science and Health with Key to the Scriptures" by Mary Baker Eddy was purchased, and as a result of reading this book I was healed of grief over the loss of two members of my family. At this time also I was healed of continuous pain in my back and head, and a heart condition which at times caused much suffering.
The healing which I am especially grateful for took place about a year later, and has been a continual inspiration to me. From childhood I had suffered from terrifying dreams of accidents. Several times physicians were consulted about this, but no help was received. As time went on, these dreams were followed by unconsciousness and several days' illness.
