I have long wished to express gratitude for the blessings and healings resulting from the study of Christian Science. Among the many healings experienced in our home have been those of periodic headache, constipation, broken bones, blood poisoning, contagious diseases, severe burns, and chronic colds; also, invalidism resulting from an injury was healed, though physicians had advised an operation. Some of the healings were brought about through our own understanding, and some through the loving help of practitioners.
I am grateful for the healings, for the solution of many problems, and for the practitioners who have so kindly and patiently helped me. I am grateful for the Christian Science periodicals. They have come into my home for a number of years, and have been a means of spiritual enlightenment. The testimonies given in gratitude for Christian Science healings have encouraged and helped me through many trying conditions.
After he had observed several healings that the children and I had experienced, as well as my greatly improved mental condition, my husband became interested in Christian Science, and several years later we became members of a Christian Science church. This membership with its privilege of working and associating with loving, loyal, and earnest workers in the church proved to be a great blessing to both of us.
