For the far-reaching activities of The Mother Church, I am most grateful. The Wartime Activities Committee filled an important need while I was in the service, for through the Christian Science Servicemen's Centers I gained a clear realization of home. On pondering some of Mrs. Eddy's definitions and uses of the word "home," I began to understand that man's home is heaven. Since the kingdom of heaven is ever present and within us, I understood man's oneness with home.
These ideas of truth were demonstrated later in my experience. During the first few months of our marriage, my wife and I lived in a small one-room apartment. As it became apparent that larger quarters were necessary, we worked to know man's oneness with the spiritual idea of home. One day a builder called and said that he had heard we needed a home. He had just finished a house, the location and arrangement of which were just what we wanted. By realizing that God is the only Mind, we were able to secure a loan and complete the transaction. I am deeply grateful for this proof of the care of divine Love.
I have experienced several physical healings through the application of Christian Science, but I wish to express my joy for the protection I have had through daily study. For the privilege of membership in The Mother Church and in a branch church, I am most grateful. The privilege of membership in a college organization bore many fruits during my college career. Class instruction brought a boundless harvest of joyous blessings.—Dallas, Texas.
