My heart overflows with gratitude as I increasingly experience God's love each day through depending on Him more fully for guidance.
Twenty-six years ago my mother fell down some steps and tore the ligaments above her knees. After operating, the doctor said she would never walk again because the ligaments were shortened and she had lost all the water from the knees. She turned to Christian Science and asked help from a practitioner. Refusing medicine that had seemed necessary previously because of great pain, she slept soundly that night and never experienced any more pain. In a short time she was completely healed and had such freedom she could even get down on her knees.
Through the years we depended entirely on Christian Science and had many beautiful healings, but leaned more on the help of faithful practitioners than on our own demonstrations to promote our growth in spiritual understanding.
