I wish to offer my testimony in joyous gratitude to God for the infinite blessings I have received through the study and application of Christian Science.
The first healing which seemed outstanding to me was that of a nervous breakdown. The healing was slow, but many lessons were learned, and by clinging steadfastly to the truths revealed in this Science I was completely healed. I also wish to add that no time was lost from my work, and I know this would have been impossible had it not been for the unfailing support derived from the understanding of God's omnipresence. I am grateful for the help given me at different times by two practitioners and for my husband's loving support and encouragement during this experience.
At one time four members of our family were wonderfully protected when the brakes on the car in which we were riding failed to take hold. We were going down a long and steep hill, at the bottom of which was a traffic light at a very busy intersection. The light facing us was red, and the traffic was very heavy in the opposite direction. The emergency brake was applied, but became stuck and caught on fire. We were then traveling at a very fast rate of speed, and humanly there seemed to be no way of avoiding an accident. Our thoughts turned to God, and I remember saying aloud, "God is here." When I looked again the traffic signal had changed to green, and just in time, as we were a very short distance from the light. We coasted for a long distance before coming to a stop, but there was no interference from any direction. Love had prepared the way before us.
