I feel it my duty to testify to the healing power of Christian Science.
I have been healed of a serious internal malady. For a long time I was under medical treatment, but the doctor could not ascertain what the trouble was. There were days when I could scarcely go about my daily duties, and there were many sleepless nights, when I resorted to material remedies to no avail. Then I went to see a Christian Science practitioner, who lovingly gave me treatment. Several months passed before the error was overcome, but by my clinging firmly to the truth, it gradually disappeared. I should like to counsel all those whose healing is not instantaneous not to despair. With patience and firm faith in Truth the goal will be reached.
Not long ago I had a wonderful experience. One of the toes on my left foot was badly infected. It was so swollen I could not get my shoe on, and I suffered severe pain. Those who saw my foot told me it might be the cause of my death, but this I at once denied mentally. At my express desire my husband asked the practitioner for help, which was lovingly given. What joy I was to experience! Within four hours the toe opened in three places, the pus flowed out, and the pain vanished. My toe is again entirely normal.
