NEED CONTINUES FOR CONTRIBUTIONS TO THE MOTHER CHURCH WARTIME FUND

From the February 1952 issue of The Christian Science Journal

That our Camp Welfare work is continuing to fulfill its original purpose of promoting the spiritual welfare of Christian Scientists and others who are serving in the Army, Navy, and Air Forces is affirmed by many letters which have been received in connection with this activity.

A mother writes: "I am truly grateful for this service provided by The Mother Church—it certainly exemplifies the motherhood of God and the brotherhood of man.... To have someone at hand to support our children and encourage them to stand for right is a great comfort to us. I pray that this army of workers may be endowed with patience, tenderness, wisdom, and, oh, so much love, which are needed in this work."

A young man who lost his bedroll containing "Science and Health with Key to the Scriptures" by Mary Baker Eddy when his company participated in an attack in Korea writes: "I wish to thank you for the prompt sending of Science and Health. I never dreamed it would come so soon."
