Paul writes (I Cor. 2:9), "Eye hath not seen, nor ear heard, neither have entered into the heart of man, the things which God hath prepared for them that love him."
From early childhood I believed in God. Also I felt that the only real aim in life should be to praise God constantly by serving Him through helping mankind. However, I was never satisfied with any work I accomplished until I became a student of Christian Science. Now I am learning to replace self-depreciation with a sense of man's true valuation as the child of God. Through study of this Science I have found the way of Truth, which I had been seeking for many years.
In 1945 I left Hungary, where my life had been most unhappy and discordant, and I traveled many miles through different lands, learning many lessons. After my marriage, and at a time when our predicament seemed too great to endure, a loving friend told my husband and me of Christian Science. With the help of a practitioner my husband was healed of a serious stomach trouble of twenty years' standing. From then on we became earnest students of Christian Science. When I read the words, " 'Work out your own salvation,' is the demand of Life and Love for to this end God worketh with you" (Science and Health by Mrs. Eddy, p. 22), the fear of becoming a burden to others left me; lack was replaced with bountiful supply, sadness with joy, and uncertainty with peace.
