I wish to take this opportunity to express m) gratitude to God for revealing Christian Science to our revered Leader, Mrs. Eddy. Through the teachings of Christian Science I have received many physical healings.
In the winter of 1949 I was taken ill, and to please my husband I went to a physician for a diagnosis. X rays were taken, and I was told that I had tuberculosis and that I would have to go away for at least one year. Then a friend of mine urged me to turn to Christian Science for healing. I immediately got in touch with a Christian Science practitioner, and treatment was begun. The doctor was dismissed, and I did not go away. I gained forty-five pounds in six months and was restored to health. During that time I was healed of grief at the passing on of my parents and was also healed of the smoking habit.
Words cannot express the love and gratitude that are in my heart for these wonderful proofs of God's healing power.— Bellerose, New York.
