THE "FEAST AND FLOW OF SOUL"

From the March 1952 issue of The Christian Science Journal

"Invite all cordially and freely to this A banquet of Christian Science, this feast and flow of Soul." Thus Mary Baker Eddy delightfully characterizes the Christian Science testimony meeting in a letter of instruction sent to The Mother Church, The First Church of Christ, Scientist, in Boston, Massachusetts. This letter appears on pages 148 and 149 of her volume "Miscellaneous Writings."

This meeting, this weekly banquet of Christian Science, held each Wednesday in The Mother Church and in its many-branches and societies in many parts of the world, provides a feast to those starved by the woes of material sense. "This feast and flow of Soul" bountifully nourishes those hungering for health, peace, courage, and inspiration—the joys of spiritual sense.

The hymns from the Christian Science Hymnal, the readings selected from the Bible and the textbook, "Science and Health with Key to the Scriptures" by Mrs. Eddy, and the testimonies of healing given by members of the congregation furnish those attending the service convincing proof of God's love for man and His unfailing ability to meet every human need.
