"O give thanks unto the Lord, for lie is good....Let the redeemed of the Lord say so, whom he hath redeemed from the hand of the enemy" (Ps. 107:1, 2).
About thirty years ago, at a time when I was in great trouble, Christian Science was recommended to me; and it indeed proved to be an ever-present help. From then on, I continued to study this Science, and I have relied on it entirely for healing. Sixteen years ago I was healed of a so-called incurable disease; the doctor said that unless I consented to take medicine, he would predict dire consequences. This healing was accomplished by absent treatment from a practitioner.
An outstanding healing for which I am especially grateful took place more recently. I was suffering from what a medical nurse, with whom I live, said was an ulcer of the hipbone. A Christian Science practitioner was called, and in a few hours the ulcer opened and drained. I was soon up and about as usual, completely healed. At another time I was healed of pneumonia with no aftereffects.
