Although I have given many testimonies at Wednesday meetings, I have never yet given a written testimony, and as I have been a recipient for about twenty-five years of the many blessings that Christian Science brings to its students, I feel it is time that this step be taken.
Christian Science has been my guide and support through all the years since I first began to understand the teachings of our revered Leader, Mrs. Eddy. Before I became a student of Science I received a healing of eczema of the hands through the faithful work of a practitioner. After I had become a student I had a healing in one treatment of a severe case of influenza, which I had been unable to overcome through my own understanding. A daughter was healed of blood poisoning in the leg about ten days after a practitioner had been asked for help.
Lack was overcome during the depression through my awakening to the realization that Love, God, is the only source of supply and that supply is abundantly given. This awakening was brought about through quiet communion with God on a beautiful summer day when birds were singing and all nature seemed to proclaim the bounty of the creator of all. Since that awakening I have never again felt any sense of lack.
