I am increasingly grateful for Christian Science and for our beloved Leader, Mrs. Eddy, as well as for all the avenues in which the truth is going out to meet the needs of the world today.
At the passing of a loved one it was necessary for me to go back into the business world after an absence of seventeen years. The so-called material law that after one passes a certain age speed and efficiency are lacking was proved to be a false suggestion of mortal mind. It was demonstrated that our ability depends on our spiritual consciousness of God. The belief of age and the passing of time cannot put aside spiritual law and its orderly unfolding of one's God-given ability.
Later I desired to make a complete change in my line of work, and I attended a business school to prepare myself. Then I asked for the help of a practitioner and started out to locate a position. I answered many advertisements and had many interviews, but the objection to my age and inexperience kept coming up. I refused to accept the objection as coming from Mind or as having any effect in God's plan for His child.
