The Seed Within Itself

From the June 1955 issue of The Christian Science Journal

Unfoldment of man's life is one
With the bright promise of the rose.
The ancient attar sweetly flows.
The blossom leans upon the sun

And bathed in light from crown to root,
Welcomes the sweep of wind and rain.
The seed within itself, again
Resurgent, bears a golden fruit.
