The Right of Way

From the May 1956 issue of The Christian Science Journal

I am where I am under God's law.
His way lies open for my progress, free.
No argument of person, place, or thing
Can cloud my mental peace nor limit me.

When floods surround and darkness hides my way
I walk in faith. The phantom shapes recede.
For God has given promise. At His word
The mists dissolve and show my pathway freed.

My part, to put all fear and trembling out,
To take His hand as humbly as a child,
And in His presence know that I shall find
True prayer and true fulfillment reconciled.
