Having known of Christian Science all my life, I wish to give written testimony of the power of Truth to heal. In my early childhood I was healed of inflammatory rheumatism, which completely disabled me for a period of one month. Although I missed attendance at school for the period stated, I was nevertheless enabled to go forward with the rest of the class when promotion time came.
During a summer vacation from high school, while many hundreds of miles from home, I was instantaneously healed of a strained back. At the time, it was said I would never be able to lift my arms above my shoulders. This proved to be false, for I have not been handicapped in any way whatsoever.
During the period of young manhood I suffered from a hernia. Upon coming home one evening from work, I was barely able to make my way from the streetcar into the house. After I had finished the evening meal, help from a practitioner was requested; and for a short period Christian Science was studied. After a few minutes a complete healing was manifested. So evident was the healing that I went to a dance later in the evening.
