I can never express in words my gratitude for Christian Science, which has given me an understanding of man's at-one-ment with our Father-Mother God, and a peace that the world can neither give nor take away.
My interest in Science began many years ago. I had a friend in the business world whom I knew to be a Christian Scientist. She was always kind and never made a critical remark about anyone. I thought she was different from others I knew.
One day as she came into the room she ran into an object which hit her in the temple. She appeared to be badly injured, and we wanted to call a doctor for help. She said, "Now, girls, just leave me alone." In ten minutes she was back at work, and there was no sign of an accident.
