I have received so much inspiration and help from reading the testimonies in our Christian Science periodicals that I should like to share a few of my own healing experiences.
I accepted the invitation of a relative to attend a Wednesday evening testimony meeting in a Church of Christ, Scientist. So impressed was I by some of the testimonies, that I borrowed from the lending library a copy of Science and Health by Mrs. Eddy. I became quite absorbed in this textbook and read it at every opportunity until I had gone through the entire book.
While doing this I would also read the Bible to see if it substantiated the statements in Science and Health. It did, and the revelation dawned upon me suddenly like a glorious light that Christian Science is the exact truth of God and man. I had a wonderful sense of spiritual uplift that lasted for days. I knew that Christian Science was the religion that I was looking for and that now I was beginning to understand God and man in His image and likeness.
