From the March 1958 issue of The Christian Science Journal

As soon as possible, after the announcement in June following the Annual Meeting of The Mother Church as to which lecturers are to be assigned to Great Britain, Ireland, and the Continent, clerks of the churches and societies in those countries should make application for lectures. These applications should be received not later than July 1. If a church or society wishes to sponsor a lecture during July or August, application should be made promptly to The Christian Science Board of Lectureship.

When executive boards are appointing lecture committees in the various churches and societies, it would be advantageous to keep in thought that the members of a committee should be able to communicate with each other during July and August.

It is not practicable for the members of the Board of Lectureship to arrange lecture schedules until all applications have been received. Therefore your early co-operation will be appreciated and will help the lecturer in the prompt and harmonious arrangement of individual dates. Should there be a desire to make an extra call to meet a need in a locality, application for a lecturer would, of course, be handled as expeditiously as possible.
