In referring to "Lessons in the Sunday School," Mrs. Eddy states (The First Church of Christ, Scientist, and Miscellany, p. 232), "The right way wins the right of way, even the way of Truth and Love whereby all our debts are paid, mankind blessed, and God glorified."
My mother gave me the opportunity to learn the right way by enrolling me in the infant class in a Christian Science Sunday School. My wife also had the privilege of Sunday School instruction at an early age. As a result, our lives have been blessed with many marvelous benefits that have come to us through the daily study of the inspired Word of the Bible and of Science and Health.
The first of the healings that I should like to relate proved that a Christian Science treatment can span a continent and an ocean with its healing message. During the First World War, while I was in military service in France, I suffered from what the company doctor diagnosed as a hernia.
