A number of years ago I was stricken with a serious nervous condition. It grew worse, and a relative who was a student of Christian Science prevailed upon me to try this Science. With this relative I called on a Christian Science practitioner for help.
My greeting to him was that I was not interested in Christian Science or religion of any kind, nor was I interested in God. I only wanted to be healed; so I asked if he could heal me. He smiled and said he could not heal me, but he could help me; it was God who would do the healing. He talked with me for some time, and I found myself becoming quiet, calm, and peaceful. I remember very little of what he said; but I left his office completely healed, and there has never been a return of the condition.
Since that time my family and I have experienced many physical healings, some of which are those of influenza, severe headaches, colds, eye infection, poisoning, boils, sprained ankle, rheumatism, a heart condition, and ingrowing toenails.
