I entered the Christian Science Sunday School...

From the October 1961 issue of The Christian Science Journal

I entered the Christian Science Sunday School as a young child and remained until I was twenty. I shall never cease to be thankful for the inspired, thorough training I received there. Today, as a Sunday School teacher myself, I am having the happy privilege of assisting in the spiritual progress of other young people.

For over twenty-five years I have not lost a day from work because of illness; this is due primarily to my consistent study of the weekly Bible Lessons, found in the Christian Science Quarterly. These lessons, provided by the wisdom of our far-sighted Leader, have made it possible for me to demonstrate the preventive as well as the curative power of Christian Science.

One weekend, not many years after I had left the Sunday School, I embarked on a motor outing with some other young people. Shortly after the outing began, I was seized with an attack of headache and nausea which threatened to ruin the trip for me. Such attacks had occurred at intervals; they had never been subjected to the application of Christian Science, because after a good night's sleep I was usually better.
