I have found in Christian Science what I know to be a complete and satisfying answer to my search for a logical explanation of existence. Whatever the apparent need, it cannot fail to be met by the correct application of scientific reasoning as set forth in Science and Health by Mrs. Eddy.
The contents of the textbook absorbed me from the first moment that I took it up, and during the following months I had an opportunity to put its teachings to the test. I had entered into a business partnership for a seven-year period and soon found that many facts had been misrepresented to me. Many problems were worked out, though the situation as a whole was far from satisfactory.
At one time when my income dropped to a very low point, I held to Mrs. Eddy's statement on page 261 of Science and Health, "Hold thought steadfastly to the enduring, the good, and the true, and you will bring these into your experience proportionably to their occupancy of your thoughts." As I endeavored to fill my consciousness with "the enduring, the good, and the true," my income rose above its previous high level and remained above it.
