In the hope that they will bless others, I am happy to share some of the many blessings that I have received through the study of Christian Science.
At one time, when my work involved traveling, I had received permission from my employer for my mother and her sister to join me along the way. A couple of days before I was to meet them a painful condition of quinsy developed which became so aggravated that I could hardly whisper.
I had planned to make many business calls that day, and at first I was tempted not to make them. Immediately, however, I felt such an overwhelming sense of gratitude to my employer for allowing my mother and my aunt to join me on the trip that I decided to go ahead and make the calls that day despite my physical condition. By the next morning the healing was accomplished, and I was able joyfully to meet my mother and her sister as we had arranged.
