AT a time when wonderful discoveries are being made in the realms of physics and astronautics, the fact that Christian Science is a true scientific discovery in the realm of Spirit is beginning to dawn upon mankind.
In her book "Retrospection and Introspection," Mrs. Eddy, our Leader, tells of her discovery of the Science of Christ. In the chapter, "The Great Discovery," she writes (p. 28): "I had learned that thought must be spiritualized, in order to apprehend Spirit. It must become honest, unselfish, and pure, in order to have the least understanding of God in divine Science. The first must become last. Our reliance upon material things must be transferred to a perception of and dependence on spiritual things."
As we purify and spiritualize our thinking, and then practice what we learn in Christly living, each one of us can begin to demonstrate God's laws in daily experience. All scientific knowledge aids us in distinguishing between the true and the false, the real and unreal.
