Christian Science has been my rod and staff since childhood. For the many blessings which have come to me through its study and practice, I am truly grateful.
At a time when my home was broken up and I was left with two children to support, the loving promises of the Bible became my daily bread. Through this experience I learned to rely upon the truth of the Bible assurance that "thy Maker is thine husband; the Lord of hosts is his name; and thy Redeemer the Holy One of Israel; The God of the whole earth shall he be called" (Isa. 54:5).
Supply has been provided when the need was urgent and the human source not apparent. Also, the Bible promise, "Before they call, I will answer; and while they are yet speaking, I will hear" (Isa. 65: 24)', has been proven true. Many times I have been given work to do which has brought remuneration to supplement my regular income. Increased supply often has been provided prior to an unexpected need. However, of chief importance to me, I have learned to be obedient to Jesus' instruction, "Thou shalt love thy neighbour as thyself" (Matt. 19:19), and to the teachings of Mrs. Eddy on this subject in Science and Health.
