For a number of years I was bothered by congestion of the lungs caused by an asthmatic condition which at times made breathing difficult. Although I had help from a Christian Science practitioner in addition to my own prayers and study, and received relief, the healing was not complete.
Some time ago the condition became severe; help from a practitioner was again requested, and I was partially relieved. It then came to me that I should do the rest of the necessary prayerful work myself. So I worked and studied to show myself "approved unto God" (II Tim. 2:15).
At a business meeting at which I was to read a report, I had a painful attack and thought at first that I would have to give the report to someone else to read. However, I knew that God supports man, who is the expression of His activity, and I was able to read without any trouble. After this the condition began to disappear, and a few days later I was able to see man's perfection so clearly that the healing was completed.
