Mankind are seeking release from the stress and strain that result from their believing in an existence apart from God. Satisfactory and lasting release from such conditions can come only by their gaining a correct understanding of the facts of real existence, as taught in Christian Science, and expressing these facts in daily life.
When we subordinate our false concepts to the truth of being, we shall experience the harmony of God's control. We must begin, however, by acknowledging God as the fixed Principle of the universe, as the only cause and creator. This spiritual universe, including individual, spiritual man, is ever present. It is harmoniously and eternally governed by God alone, regardless of any evidence of the material senses to the contrary.
God's spiritual law is always guiding and protecting His ideas and is ever available to mankind for healing and for restoring harmony in every discordant situation. As Jesus said (John 8:32), "Ye shall know the truth, and the truth shall make you free."
