For as long as I can remember, I have had a deep faith in God and have felt very close to Him. However, in the past there were many questions that I could not find answers to, and I hungered for the answers. For many years I visited different Protestant churches, seeking something although I knew not what. In my prayers I did not ask for things. I knew that somewhere there must be a religion that could answer my questions concerning God and man and life. It was my constant prayer that I be led to find it.
I arrived at a crisis in my life. I was losing my sight, experiencing a recurring partial blindness, and I also had a lung condition. A friend of mine was a Christian Scientist, and I asked if his religion could help me. I was told something about it, also about "Science and Health with Key to the Scriptures" by Mrs. Eddy, and I was shown how to study the Bible Lessons, provided in the Christian Science Quarterly. As I began to read I knew that this was what I had long been praying for. After a short while I went to a practitioner, who guided me through the deep waters. The lung condition was healed quickly. The healing of the eye condition took a little longer, but it was eventually complete.
There have been many healings since then of physical, financial, and business difficulties, and relationships have been made harmonious.
