Sunday School—for the college man?

From the September 1966 issue of The Christian Science Journal

Is Sunday School just for little children? Not the Christian Science Sunday School.

A college student, academically and athletically a leader of his class, brought his date to Sunday School. She didn't look at all receptive. In fact when they entered the hallway outside the Sunday School room, a teacher overheard her say, "Let's not go to Sunday School. That's for little kids!" With all the sophistication and flattery she could muster, she tried to persuade him to change his plans. But he wouldn't budge.

Chuckling, he said, "If you don't want to go, you don't have to. But I wouldn't miss this class for anything."

Reluctantly, she went and was surprised to find fourteen other young people there. She found herself getting interested and came back again and again, finally becoming an enthusiastic member herself.
