Through prayer and daily spiritualization of thought each of us can gain the awakened spiritual sense of God and man which Christ Jesus utilized. Then we shall prove man's imperishable continuity in our day-to-day lives.
Jesus brought a spiritual sense of Life to his human experience. His recognition of man as inseparable from God—His very expression—enabled him to prove for all time the eternal continuity of identity. His understanding of man's coexistence with God and of his consequent preexistence fortified his grasp of the eternal continuity of man's identity outside of and superior to any claim of a material selfhood.
So sure and pure was his spiritual sense of God's allness and potency that he could quiet the storm, walk the waves, and take the boat containing him and his disciples across the Sea of Galilee instantly. Furthermore, he healed the sick and dying and worked out his own resurrection and ascension. His awareness of the ever-present control of divine Spirit subordinated material laws and brought to light man's dominion and freedom.
