"Good according to Science"

There are probably very few human beings who do not have a yearning for good. People wish to achieve what they believe to be good. According to his human background, his disposition, and his environment, each one longs for the good he believes will bring him the most happiness.

When viewed according to a personal sense of things, good is subject to change. Everyone may have a different notion about it. What to one person might be very good, to another might be uninteresting, depriving, or even destructive.

Viewed in the light of scientific Christianity, good is unvarying. The definition of "good" in the Glossary of the Christian Science textbook, Science and Health by Mrs. Eddy, is "God; Spirit; omnipotence; omniscience; omnipresence; omni-action."Science and Health, p. 587;
