Recently while attending a Christian Science lecture, I found myself silently answering No when the lecturer asked, "Does anyone here need companionship, a home, a job, better health?" With a rush of gratitude I realized that all these blessings were mine and that Christian Science had played a major part in providing for each need.
A happy home would be at the top of the list of my blessings. And this is entirely due to the influence of Christian Science. Although my husband was not a student of Christian Science when we were married, nor when our two children were born, he was a witness to many outstanding healings during those first years.
One of our children had a foot condition at birth that the attending doctor said might be corrected by the child's wearing braces for several months. The braces were not worn, and the condition was corrected through prayer in Christian Science. There is no malformation or weakness in either foot.
