Healing Services

From the June 1970 issue of The Christian Science Journal

A Church of Christ, Scientist, whose Sunday and Wednesday services are healing the sick should have no attendance problem other than that of finding seats enough for those who come. All who participate in a service of such a church are lifted to higher concepts of God, Life and Love, and to clearer views of man, the reflection of God. One who has attended knows he has been an important part of a dynamic demonstration of the law of infinite Truth. Either he himself was healed of some ailment, or he contributed vitally to someone else's healing.

The definition of "Church," given in Science and Health by Mrs. Eddy, leaves no doubt as to the effect to be expected from any major activity of the Church of Christ, Scientist. The definition reads:

"Church. The structure of Truth and Love; whatever rests upon and proceeds from divine Principle.
