Christian Science was introduced to my mother about forty-seven years ago, but I did not become interested, except in a casual way, until ten years later. Since then my family and I have had many proofs of the healing power of Christian Science.
One healing which stands out in my memory is that of an abscess on the lower part of my body. This developed when I was still a schoolboy, and although I had much loving help from practitioners, the condition persisted for many years until after my marriage.
By then I had commenced studying Christian Science earnestly and realized that I had to bring my thinking into line with God if I wanted to have a harmonious existence. This I endeavored to do, and although it took some time, the condition was healed and faded completely from my experience.
