What Is the World Searching For?

Malaise seems to be widespread in the world today. This is a state of unrest, uncertainty, discontent. It certainly is not a happy state of being.

Christian Scientists, young and old, have a unique opportunity to prove the efficacy of their religion in this troubled atmosphere. What are the agitators of today really trying to find? Is it not some truth about themselves and the world that surrounds them?

A bearded, long-haired, barefooted young man in tattered clothes walked into a Christian Science Reading Room recently. He asked many searching questions about what this religion taught and practiced. In the course of conversation the librarian asked what had prompted his interest.
