FLOWER CHILD: INTERROGATION

From the February 1972 issue of The Christian Science Journal

What is the town from which you came?
It has no name.

What was the background, in and out?
Despair and doubt.

What now your wish? And what your goal?
To be made whole.

What are the means you seek? Revere?
The love found here.

The source? Effect? Divining rod?
Some call it—God.

But are you sure, O restless youth?
Yes! Love's the truth!

Then come, come in! You're home at last,
Free from the past!
