Getting Materiality Out of Human Consciousness

From the May 1972 issue of The Christian Science Journal

Living can be an adventure, fulfilling and rewarding, when we use the spiritual qualities we reflect from God to destroy the illusions of mortal, material thought.

Christian Science explains that human experience objectifies the condition of human consciousness. Genuine betterment is the natural result of more spiritual thinking.

To improve one's thinking and thus experience spiritual healing and harmonized living, one cannot ignore or overlook fear, impurity, resentment, pride, and the like. Mental turmoil and materiality are eradicated by expressing such Godlike qualities as trust, purity, love, humility.
