I humbly give thanks to God for His provision of Christian Science, revealed to our beloved Leader, Mrs. Eddy, and set forth in the textbook, Science and Health. I have found that this book illumines the teachings, the purpose, and acts of the gentle and pure Way-shower, Christ Jesus, and the power of healing, holiness, and eternal life through the Christ.
Until I became acquainted with Christian Science, my life was full of limitations of every kind, and everything I did seemed to end in a catastrophic way. The study of the Bible and of the textbook changed my entire life.
I have received healings of fear and personal sense. On one occasion, when I had recently begun the study of Christian Science, I had to travel by plane from Buenos Aires to Comodoro Rivadavia. It was my first experience of that kind, and I was very happy to be doing it, although I was experiencing a certain amount of fear. However, when I was informed that in a certain part of the journey the plane would be entering a zone of turbulence, I was so frightened that I didn't feel so happy to be going on that journey. It was then that I asked for help from a student of Christian Science who had had class instruction, and he recommended I study Psalm 121, especially verse 8: "The Lord shall preserve thy going out and thy coming in from this time forth, and even for evermore."
