When Christ Jesus healed the ten lepers, one of them turned back to give him thanks and "with a loud voice glorified God," as we read in the Gospel of St. Luke (17:15).
If I should look back and try to express gratitude for all the benefits that, in the course of my life, I have received through Christian Science and its application, it wouldn't be possible, for I have experienced physical healings as well as the solution of personal difficulties and the overcoming of moral penury.
After the complete loss of our home, my parents and I found ourselves on the street with one suitcase apiece as our total possessions. Nevertheless, we knew that the concept of "home" is not expressed by a house, floor, furnishings, rugs, or pictures but by the spiritual qualities of love, harmony, and protection. Thus, through our understanding of Christian Science, it was possible for us in a short time to have a new home more beautiful than the former one.
