I CANNOT BE DECEIVED

From the February 1976 issue of The Christian Science Journal

I cannot be deceived.
Unconsciousness and trance do not exist
in Mind.
At one with God, the only pull
is unity.

I cannot yield to sin.
Soul feels no false desire,
no sordid pride.
I know the joy of dwelling
in God's purity.

I cannot be discouraged.
There is no fear, no force
withstanding Love.
I am God's man, my being—
only liberty.
