My first Christian Science healing came through reading Science and Health by Mrs. Eddy. The healing of my concept of life at that time has always overshadowed the physical healing, so that I do not remember much of the physical difficulty.
After the birth of my second child, I did not have the robust health I had enjoyed throughout my life. Along with ill health, my thought became confused.
I then began to question God. In trying to find peace by reading the Bible, I decided I did not believe in God. If there were a creator who caused man to sin and then punished him for it, I could not accept Him. Back of this doubt was also silent imploring, "If You are real and I don't understand, please let me know."
