What a thrill it is to witness the feats of space exploration! Such wonderful technological achievements as these, with their display of human intelligence, hint at the power of God, the one infinite and divine Mind of all true being. But an immeasurably greater access to this power, wherewith to heal the ills of mankind and solve world problems, is at hand in Christian Science, the revealed knowledge of Christ's Christianity.
Throughout his career Christ Jesus demonstrated that God, Mind, is the only source of power and that this power is not a physical force but the divine energy, or spiritual intelligence, of Mind. He lived the Christ, Truth, which brings to mankind the knowledge of Mind's law, enabling them to overrule the errors that constitute the mortal, material sense of existence.
Jesus' knowledge of Mind's ever-present law and the spiritual actuality of being gave him total control over the belief that matter is real. It enabled him to heal all types of disease. Also, as Mrs. Eddy says, "Jesus gave his disciples (students) power over all manner of diseases; and the Bible was written in order that all peoples, in all ages, should have the same opportunity to become students of the Christ, Truth, and thus become God-endued with power (knowledge of divine law) and with 'signs following.'"
