THE INSCAPE OF OUTREACH

From the January 1977 issue of The Christian Science Journal

When thinking of Church
do we see landscape, building, and discrete
mortal consciousnesses, which must be linked
by material modes? Or do we see
a spiritual structure?
Everyone
receptive to the Christ
grows spiritually.
And everyone who grows, even in small
degree, participates in healing.
From this inclusive viewpoint
there is no out to reach.
When I reach out
may I also be in touch
with that inward landscape
where each is seen as living stone
in the ever-unfolding structure
of healing Truth
and Love.
