For some years I suffered severe pain in my jaw. Several doctors attended me but to no avail. I was told that an operation was required. After hearing that, I became fearful, as persons whom I knew were operated on for a similar complaint, and the operation was not successful.
Later a nephew who is a student of Christian Science asked if I would try Christian Science. He said it would help me, and I agreed. I asked him to explain about Christian Science, and he did. Then he phoned a Christian Science practitioner for me. I went to see her, and while she was speaking to me the pain left me completely. I was so impressed to hear that I was never separated from God, and I also learned much more about God. She gave me a copy of Science and Health by Mrs. Eddy and showed me passages to read. In three weeks I was completely and permanently healed of the complaint. That healing opened the way for me to study Christian Science with joy and happiness, and many other healings followed.
My three grandchildren go to a Christian Science Sunday School. At one time they had eczema all over their bodies. I relied on God alone, knowing the truth that they are God's perfect creation, the likeness of God, His spiritual expression. I knew that God, the only power, can heal any condition when His truth is properly recognized and applied with understanding. In about three or four weeks the children were quite free and healed.
