Discernment of the fact that you are God's man will heal you. An understanding that you belong to God will bless and sustain your life. It is one thing to say that we are God's man. It is something else to know it—to live that truth and accept the profound implications.
We know the nature and substance of God's man only as we strengthen our awareness of the essence of God Himself. With the power of Truth the Bible proclaims man to be the image of God. Referring to Israel, the prophet aptly describes God's claim to man, "I have called thee by thy name; thou art mine." Isa. 43:1; "Thou art mine" reveals man's eternal place—owned by Life and Love.
God never gives up His divine creation. He sustains its infinite perfection. God possesses man. He embraces man. He claims man as His own. God is Love. He is infinite. He mothers and fathers man eternally. God is not dispossessed of His perfect image. No mortal theory can take from God His pure and precious child. No erring belief can separate Love and its expression. No material concept can divorce cause from its effect—Principle from its idea. Man does not belong to imperfection. He is God's.
