Don't be duped by decoys!

From the November 1978 issue of The Christian Science Journal

A decoy has a special function. Sportsmen lure wildfowls, especially ducks, with decoys. The unwary bird accepts the false as true, bringing about his own downfall.

Decoys, of course, are sometimes encountered in human as well as bird life. They present themselves to us in many guises. If we are unvigilant, we are apt to be deluded by things we see or hear, and to accept as fact that which is illusory.

From Christian Science we learn that because God is divine Principle, filling all space, suggestions of error are completely powerless. The spiritual operation and supremacy of God's law, when understood and applied, allow us to avoid being deceived by the lies of animal magnetism, or evil.
