World economic crisis: what the individual can do

"Salvation is individual. It never waits for nor is it dependent on anyone else. It depends only on our acceptance of Science, our yielding to the divine Mind, which always beholds its perfect kingdom intact."

There is no law of heredity

"How can we inherit good or baneful tendencies from an individual who, like ourselves, coexists with God in ageless being? It would be like a ray of the sun declaring that it obtained its light and warmth from another ray; but everybody knows all the rays derive their qualities from one source— the sun."

Christ Jesus and true sonship

An editorial —"The birth of Jesus was an embarrassment—a profound affront—to materialistic beliefs about the nature of existence, and ultimately he refuted the entire concept that life is dependent on matter. His virgin birth set aside the so-called laws of nature and set the stage in human experience for final proof that God fathers man as a spiritual idea."
