Christian Science has taught me the healing power of gratitude. I have learned that evidences of good are proof of God's ever-presence. Recognition of this with a grateful heart makes me alert and receptive to His constant supply of good.
I was healed of the smoking habit some twenty years ago. Other healings witnessed in my family include those of a severe burn, a badly cut finger that healed without stitches, and an abscessed tooth.
I am grateful for painless natural childbirth while relying on Christian Science treatment. During these times I maintained a joyous spiritual conviction that God's creation is already complete, perfect here and now, and unfolding harmoniously according to divine law. Mrs. Eddy writes in Science and Health (pp. 502-503): "There is but one creator and one creation. This creation consists of the unfolding of spiritual ideas and their identities, which are embraced in the infinite Mind and forever reflected."
